Nuestra Asamblea General Anual se llevará a cabo en Sabores del Sur el domingo 19 a las 13 horas – 3003 Oak Rd, Walnut Creek, CA 94597 –
Les invitamos a unirse a la única organización sin fines de lucro inscrita en el norte del estado de California que representa a la comunidad chilena. Somos lo que los miembros decidan.
Necesitamos aumentar nuestra membresía, agregar voces nuevas para formar parte del directorio y activar nuestra participación en la comunidad más allá del festival anual y el picnic de fiestas patrias. Con todo lo que está ocurriendo en nuestro país esta organización presenta una oportunidad de unidad para realizar eventos solidarios y promover la cultura chilena.
No se olviden que el centro provee becas universitarias a los hijos de chilenos viviendo en el norte de California, este es un proyecto que también deseamos ampliar y ofrecer a más candidatos…
General Assembly will be called to order at 2:00 PM
Meeting Agenda
- The President will firstly present the Year in Review report: * Financial Reports will be presented by the Directors due to Treasurer’s absence.
- The Secretary, Alexis Zuniga will read last year’s Asamblea General report
- Vice President Lizzie Brown Jeremi will present the Becas Report * Director Monica Castillo wiil present the Organization By-Laws /changes updates read and reported. * Questions & Comments will be accepted from members and current directors. * The Present Board members will choose to or not continue on the Cabinet during 2020. * A list of all 2020 Directors and new candidates will be completed with phones/addresses and accepted for Voting. * Voting will follow after a 15-20 minute time for discussion, questions and reflection. * The new cabinet of Directors will be chosen and accepted by voting members and cabinet members. * Membership dues will be collected for the new year. * The New Directors for 2020 will be congratulated and former members are thanked and appreciated for their services. * New ideas, proposals, items will be open for discussion, suggestions and dates for activities are announced and accepted. * Meeting will be adjourned.
- Attendees will be invited to eat and socialize for an hour or so.
Please Note: Sabores del Sur will not be open to the public during our event however, the Centro will provide snacks and refreshments for the meeting. It is very important to send an email to directorio@centrochilenolautaro.org to notify us about your attendance.
